A Real Monday in My Life as a New Real Estate Agent (With 4 Jobs)

Most people HATE Mondays. I totally get it. But when you’re working four jobs and trying to build a real estate business from the ground up? Mondays are just another day.

Honestly, Tuesdays are more my “reset” day – so it’s the promise of that little breather that usually carries me through the chaos of Monday.

Yes, today is Wednesday, I know – but Mondays are one of the few days where I actually have a pretty set routine, so I figured it made sense to highlight it!

Here’s what a typical Monday looks like for me right now:

5:30 AM – Wake Up & Mentally Prep

Yes, I’m up before the sun (so are a lot of other people as well!) usually I’m up between 5:30-5:45.

Not because I’m a morning person (I’m definitely not), but as an adult I’ve forced myself to almost become one. I need that quiet time to mentally prepare for the long day ahead – whether that’s reading, meditating, or just existing in peace before everything kicks off.

I drink some water, brush my teeth, get ready for work, and take a moment to just be before the madness begins.

6:30 AM – Serving Shift (Job #1)

I open at my serving job most Mondays, so I’m clocked in by 6:30 AM. The shift usually goes until about 2:15-2:30, and since Mondays are a little slower, it gives me a tiny bit of breathing room here and there. But it’s still a full day on my feet, and by the time I’m done, I’ve already working a standard 8-hour shift – and the day’s not even close to over.

2:30 PM – Quick Work Check (Job #2)

Right after I clock out, I’ll usually check my email for my insurance job. If there’s anything time-sensitive, I’ve been known to pull out my laptop in the parking lot and knock it out right then and there. It’s not glamorous, but that flexibility is one of the reasons I’m so grateful for that job. It’s salary, stable, and I can take care of business from wherever I am.

3:00 PM – Gym Time (Workout #1)

Since I’m doing 75 Hard, I’ve got two workouts to knock out every day. I usually hit the gym right after work while I’m still in motion. If I have time, I’ll squeeze in a quick tanning session, but a lot of the time, I’m in and out because I know there’s still more to do at home.

4:00 PM – Admin Hour: Real Estate, Content & Blog Writing

Once I’m back home, I shift into real estate + content mode. I check my email, plan my social media posts for the week, look ahead at my schedule, and see if there are any trainings or CE courses I can attend that week.

This is also when I reflect a little bit – like how I really need to prioritize lead generation even on Mondays, even if I’ve already put in a full shift. I know this is an area I need to improve on, because the longer I delay consistent lead gen, the longer it takes to grow my business.

No offense to my serving jobs, but I don’t want to be at them forever. I want Real Estate + Staging to be my full-time focus, and I know what it takes to get there.

I also try to start drafting my blog post for Wednesday during this time. Start is the keyword here – it’s usually more of a rough outline than an actual post, because I save most of the writing for Tuesday and Wednesday. But I like to at least get the ideas flowing and the structure in place on Mondays.

5:30 PM – Outdoor Workout (Workout #2)

Time for my second 75 Hard workout. Since this one has to be outdoors, I’ll either go for a walk or pull my yoga mat into the backyard and stretch it out with some yoga. By this point, I’m usually running on fumes, but showing up for myself every day is what’s building my discipline – and that’s going to pay off in the long run, not only physically but mentally and professionally, too.

6:15 PM – Dinner, Showers, and Maybe Rest

Garrett is usually home by now, and I’ll either hop in the shower before I cook and we eat, or I’ll cook first and then shower and unwind. That’s the goal anyways… sometimes I’m still grinding after dinner.

If I’m fairly caught up with work (and I use “caught up” loosely – because let’s be honest, are we ever really caught up?), we’ll relax and watch something together.

Real Talk: Why I Choose to Wind Down

I know there’s probably more I could be doing in the evenings to build my real estate business. But here’s the thing: I work 7 days a week. Garrett works 6. We don’t get a lot of uninterrupted time together, and when we’re both finally home and present – I choose to make the most of it.

Because yes, we’re both young and grinding hard to build a life we love. But if we do everything completely separate, that’s not really building a life together, is it?

So I try to be in by 10. Not just to rest, but because I want to protect my peace, protect our time, and keep showing up for this life I’m working so hard to create.

Final Thoughts

I’ll be the first to admit – my Monday schedule still needs work. I want to be more intentional about carving out time for real estate, even on the days I’m pulled into ten different directions. And yes, I worked eight hours already, but I also know that making excuses won’t build the life I’m chasing.

I’m in a season of grinding right now. Four jobs, daily workouts, long days. But I also know it won’t always be like this. I’m planting seeds now for the life I want later.

If you’re in a season like this too – just know you’re not alone. We’re out here doing the hard things, even when no one is watching. And that kind of consistency? It adds up.

XOXO,

Sav
